where the notion of aiding the needy, expressing basic feelings of concern and sympathy are ABUSED by SELFISH, SELF-IMPORTANT, GREEDY ASSES who think they and their problems are at the center of the earth.

now who's EVER gonna go around helping each other?

who's EVER gonna put others before themselves?

where's TRUST gonna be?

definitely not in other human beings anymore. yeah. soon everyone's gonna end up as the granny-with-her-cats.

YEEEEESH. "driven by desperation" is the pathetic attempt to redeem themselves of their lazy and deceitful ways. some sad notion of justification.
